A fractional or interim CFO: the JB Solutions team takes over your company's finance function. You get not one person but a CFO with a team: a financial analyst, accounting and tax experts, lawyers and HR as needed. We build finance from scratch, create a financial plan and take responsibility for its execution, and once the system is ready, we hand it over to a permanent CFO or grow one inside your company. Fixed fee from 750,000 KZT per month, VAT not included.

What you will see after 1, 3, and 6 months

Why not an in-house CFO

A fractional CFO covers the function immediately: the team starts within a week, not a quarter. And you pay for the function's results, not for someone's presence in the office.

We do not replace an in-house CFO forever. Our goal is to build the system and hand it over. When the business grows into a permanent CFO, you will hire them onto a ready-made system, and they will add value from month one.

FAQ

How is this different from (anti-)crisis management?
The crisis service is for a business losing control: stabilization and rescue. A fractional CFO is for a healthy business that needs a finance function and planning. If the audit reveals a crisis, we will say so honestly and propose the appropriate format.
How much time do you dedicate to the company?
This is not hourly staffing. We are responsible for the function: reports come out on time, the budget is controlled, plan-vs-actual is reviewed monthly. The team's workload adapts to the tasks, not the other way around.
How does the success fee option work?
Minimum 3 months at 400,000 KZT per month plus a reward starting from 5 monthly market CFO salaries upon reaching targets. Targets and the formula are fixed in the contract after the audit.
What if we already have a chief accountant?
Great, that is the foundation. Accounting covers tax and statutory books; the CFO covers management numbers, planning, and decisions. We work with your chief accountant, not instead of them. And if they are ready to grow, we can develop them into a CFO.
When will we see first results?
First management report and payment calendar: within the first month. A full budget and plan-vs-actual: from month two or three. A fully built function ready for handover: from 6 months depending on business scale.
Will you be present in the office?
By agreement. The default format is remote work plus regular meetings with the owner and team. For Almaty, on-site days are possible.
What software do you work in?
Your stack: 1C, Google Sheets, Excel. Nothing to buy. If a tool is slowing the work down, we will recommend a replacement and implement it ourselves.
How is confidentiality ensured?
We sign an NDA. No access to bank accounts is needed: we work with statements and accounting data, payments are made by your team. Data is visible only to the team members assigned to you.
What if it does not work out?
Contract exit with one month's notice. Everything we built stays with you: reports, models, procedures, configured files. No lock-in to us as an irreplaceable contractor.
